The Queens-bound side of the Kosciuszko Bridge, with its towers in Brooklyn, has carried all BQE traffic since 2017. Now the roadway is being constructed for the Brooklyn-bound side.

The towers for the other half of the bridge, which sit on the Queens side of Newtown Creek, are almost completed.

As the lower cables go in, the roadway is extending from the tower to meet the roadway approaching from either side.
