I’m not dissing Orville: I just don’t have a good photo of him. On my list.

Wright Flight

On December 17, 1903, Wilbur (4/16/1867-5/30/1912) and brother Orville (8/19/1871-1/30/1948) made the first controlled, powered and sustained heavier-than-air human flight in a machine they had built themselves. I’m looking forward to learning more in David McCullough’s recently published The Wright Brothers.
