Old & New Kosciuszko Bridges, 2

The Kosciuszko Bridge, opened in 1939, carries I-278 (the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, or BQE) over Newtown Creek, which divides Brooklyn and Queens. My March 2016 post on the construction of the new bridge is here.

The photos below were taken on December 2, 2016. All but the last three cables are in place.
